As a fourth-generation Maui resident, I grew up in Upcountry Maui and graduated from Seabury Hall. I attended Chapman University in Southern California, where I earned my BA in Strategic and Corporate Communication with minors in both Graphic Design and Advertising.

Growing up in an island community as the daughter of a small business owner shaped my perspective of local economic development and my understanding of the direct impacts that small businesses make on a community.

When I moved back to Maui, it became clear to me that there is a significant disconnect between business needs and available resources. My experience working with nimble teams and startups has given me a unique context and ability to develop the systems and programs that businesses with limited resources need to make changes quickly.

This is why I started consulting. Whether it comes down to difficulty finding locally-available talent or simply not knowing what kind of help will make the most impact– I want to be a resource for the local businesses that drive my community’s wellbeing.
